back in town

Sam had the chance to fly over to England to visit his family/meet with his doctor for another annual check-up on the ol' ticker so for about 10 days Keaton and I were fending for ourselves, so-to-speak. We stayed home during the day but stayed the nights with my parents. We missed him! He finally got back on the 11th and yes, he remembered to bring back some delicious english goodies. (cadbury milk/caramel, aero,  apple bon bons, flake, twirl, wispa, the works...) So besides giving myself a chocolate overdose every day since, I am also reminded at how much I rely on Sam in so many different ways. It was so sad seeing Keaton react to Sam being gone for the first time...couldn't sleep, fussed a lot and couldn't be pleased. (if you know Keaton, this is very out of character for him) So watching his face as Sam walked up to us at the airport was priceless! We both love him so much and were very much relieved to have him back again :)

trip to ikea

My mom, Adell and I (and the kids) went to IKEA this week for a bite to eat and nice snoop around some darling Swedish goods. Yep, these are strictly pictures of Keaton again but how can I resist? He loved it. However, I think he would have liked to have had Mac n' Cheese like Roan did (hence, the sad face picture) but I guess he should probably grow a couple teeth first so he had some graham crackers instead. He stopped complaining once I put him in the cart and pushed him around...He didn't say, but I'm betting he had a pretty enjoyable day.
